I'm not going to lie, this one's just straight up about Final Fantasy VII. Vildhjarta did it, why can't we?
Holy shit I wish I could still shred like I do in the breakdown of this song, God damn.
lyrics
You shall fear me, and all shall know my face.
All shall look upon me and despair.
I have been through endless worlds to find a world which I can claim
Destroy those who call it home and sail the depths of darkest space.
I am your eternal darkness.
I am the calamity.
I am chosen to lead the ancients.
I am the nightmare, beckoned by the darkness I bring.
I will find the promised land and claim it from intruders.
This is the very ending of all life on your planet.
Giving birth to a new age of non-existence.

I think Sam came up with the main riff as like a thrash song and I sort of shoe-horned in some tech-y runs? Either way I wrote the outro after hearing 'Buttersnips' by Periphery. I'm definitely going to rip this off soon, it sounds too good.

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it.
That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten

The feeling of this album (and irresistibly dark/black/red tape/layout) makes me wanna just lay back, induce a "daydream"-like state...yet at night...and have waking nightmares deliberately, fulfilling my inner demonic lusts and taboos vicariously through Blattaria's hellish haze of jagged, horrid, black metal beauty.
