This is a song about Slough Hardcore's least favourite show promoter. Literally all of us ended up writing a song about this Thrones had King Midas (maybe?), I can't remember which Discontent song was about him but I'm sure there was one. I listened to both of those records not long ago actually, they're not bad.
Anyway, the point of this song was two-fold:
a) fuck that dude, that dude is a cunt.
b) if I get sucked into an online argument, am I just as bad?
(Obviously yes I am. Grow up, you fucking child).
lyrics
Look me in the eye, you're narcissistic, spineless.
You nauseate me with your prosthetic veil.
So fake you're lost behind your own visage.
As dead outside as leis within.
You can't inspire trust in me, because you don't even know yourself.
What have I become? Is this what I always was?
Is it you or I who can't find ourselves?
Are we two, or are we just one entity?
Or am I a fucking demon?
I won't be your God.
Now from the back of your mind, amongst your deepest fears,
I lie in waiting.

We lost everything but the drum tracks over the last 6 years so I had to Dave Grohl everything on this song. This recording is based on our iconic 'Live at Denmark Studios' session.

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it.
That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten

The feeling of this album (and irresistibly dark/black/red tape/layout) makes me wanna just lay back, induce a "daydream"-like state...yet at night...and have waking nightmares deliberately, fulfilling my inner demonic lusts and taboos vicariously through Blattaria's hellish haze of jagged, horrid, black metal beauty.
